I have tried other custom triggers in this rifle and have found that I need to go up to a 3 1/2 – 4lb. trigger pull to have enough hammer spring tension to reliably fire 22LR’s . Even with the lightest springs installed, your trigger was 100% reliable. The Elite does have some take up, but it only took a few rounds to get used to it. I want to thank you inventing this trigger, since it is the ideal set up for 22LR’s, or other calibers that may have reliability problems due to hard primers.”

Installed the Competition on my Sig piston rig today then tuned it to 4.2 pounds and took it out to the desert and ran it through it’s paces. This fire control group is everything they claim and more. Virtually no take up, just a crisp clean break with even pressure all the way through. The reset is equally awesome and with the safety on there is absolutely no movement at all. Did some precision shooting, some rapid fire some shoot on the move and this thing performed flawlessly. After a good workout, I once again measured the pull with a Wheeler gauge and it was still a perfect 4.2 lbs with every check precisely the same. Folks, I’m telling you, this is the finest, most predictable and repeatable performance trigger I have ever had the pleasure of using! If you are looking for an upgrade, I highly recommend the Hiperfire brand. Although I have not yet experienced the Genesis or Elite models, I can assure you that if they’re manufactured to the same tolerances as their Competition, they would be excellent choices as well.
